Art as a Means of Reforming Culture: An Experience of Symbolism (Part 2)

Abstract. In this article the author continues his research on symbolism, focusing mostly on literature, analyzes its role in the development of Russian culture, growing interest to East, the Middle Ages art, tracing a connection between Russian symbolism and European philosophy of romanticism and existentialism.
