Art in culture or culture in art?

Abstract. The article deals with the system of views on art as an integral part of culture and, conversely, culture as an integral part of art. The author's point of view is argued, according to which art can not be directly identified with culture, and it is necessary to emphasize all the time that there are areas of culture that are not reflected by art.
