Concepts of identity/identification
in socio-scientific knowledge

Abstract: The article examines in detail the totality of views on identity in the world philosophical, psychological, sociological and anthropological literature, the origin and all meanings of the term itself, modern scientific discussions about the nature of identity, the author's interpretation of the modern identity crisis is given.

Keywords: culture, I-identity and We-identity, interpretation, essentialism, primordialism, constructivism.
