About the book by V. M. Rozin“The World of the artist Roman Faerstein.
The life and work of Lyubov and Anna Zimonenko”

Abstract. The article deals with a new type of humanitarian discourse, which found expression in the book by V. M. Rozin, devoted to the study of the life and work of the family of artists Faerstein-Zimonenko and at the same time to the study of various cultural problems. Three spaces of the text of the book are distinguished – the creative biography of the artists, the author's digressions and the analysis of Jewish history and culture, which are intertwined in this work, forming a complex and rich discursive form. A number of issues of artistic creativity are considered, as well as the difference in the worldview of the artist and the scientist.
