Crisis of Aesthetics or Longing for Aesthetic:
Dialogue of an Aesthetician and a Culture Specialist

Abstract: The subject of this study is aesthetic education as the major factor in shaping aesthetic ideas and values. Today aesthetic education is in crisis due to a change of value system in contemporary society and fragmentation of cultural space under the influence of post-modern trends and total informatization. The need for an aesthetic aspect in socialization of a person of the XXI century is unmistakable. The authors of this article propose their vision and solutions to this problem.
