Culture and game: activation of the game instinct in the era of transition from the middle ages to Imperial Russia (beginning)

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of the emergence of the game theater in late medieval Moscow Russia and its development in the period of Peter's reforms. The problem of the game as "devilry" in medieval culture and overcoming this stereotype is emphasized.
