Culture and historical memory (beginning)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the interest of modern cinema in history and its artistic interpretations as a form of manifestation of the historical memory of society. The method of using historical allusions to illustrate the Director's ideas is also considered. At the same time, the superiority of the cyclical civilizational view of history over the linear evolutionary one is asserted.
