Culture as the basis of identity

Abstract: The article systematically analyzes the complex of grounds for human self-identification: in biological, genetic, historical, socio-activity, status and other aspects. Both biological prerequisites and socio-historical reasons for the need for self-identification and the forms in which this is carried out are revealed.
