The book represents the author’s systematic views on historical dynamics of culture and its social regularities. The author discusses some patterns of common features of historical process and its development trends, origin and development of cultural typologies, the evolution of culture in view of its basic functional spheres.

The author’s view states that historical cultural development results in an extension of human social freedom limits, as well as in a decrease of social control over it and of compulsory sociocultural attitudes dominating in the society. Historically culture evolutionizes from primates’ population instincts to human beings’ social customs in the early history stages, and then to freedom of rational behavior of man in the modern stage.
