Gender project of Russian utopia: feminist interventions
Abstract: The actuality of a paper is stipulated by necessary to study Russian classic utopian legacy using modern poststructuralist and feminist methodologies, and it is a reason of the novelty. The purpose of the article is to examine gender policies in the Russian utopia of the 19th-beginning of the 20th century. The conclusions of paper are that Russian classical utopia idealizes the politics of the gender egalitarianism as a reflection of unconscious needs of Russian society of that time.
