How to think of going beyond the boundaries of culture:
Systemic and non-systemic levels of cultural functioning
(beginning)

Abstract. The article examines the understanding of culture by various authors of the twentieth century, their theories and interpretations of the phenomenon of culture. A comparative analysis of different points of view is carried out. In accordance with his views, the author defends the cyclic civilizational theory with its phases, ups and downs.
