Introducing children to modern culture in the family (non-) school "Seekers"

Abstract. The article discusses the concept and experience of the Kaliningrad (non) school of Pavel Shivarev. The basic principles of the work of the education practiced in it are listed: the organization of education outside the classroom system, the active participation of the child's family in his education, the work of children in age groups, the orientation to individualization of education. The attitude of parents of the (non-) "Seekers" school not to send the child to a regular school and fully invest in his education is discussed. The article analyzes the main theoretical and pedagogical provisions on which the family-pedagogical collective of the (non-) school "Seekers" is based: the Montessori system reinterpreted in a modern way, the environmental approach, the orientation towards individualization of education, the use of modern methodological and psychological means. Two understandings of the culture into which the (non-) school "Seekers" introduces the child are considered: accepted in the state, and shared by the family teaching staff of the (non-) school. In conclusion, the author raises three complex topics: the social nature of education, the importance of the subjective factor of development, the relationship of new education to traditional
