Art as a Subject of Culturological Reflection:
Thoughts on N. Khrenov’s Book
“Art in Historical Dynamics of Culture”

Abstract. The book review on N. Khrenov’s “Art in Historical Dynamics of Culture” analyzes some statements of the scientist’s large-scale work, with special attention been given to questions of culture today interpreted by the author. Significance of culture-oriented approach to art studies is outlined.
