Knowledge and information in modern Cultural Studies:
Paradoxes of similarities and differences of content

Abstract. The article analyzes the problems of epistemology of modern cultural studies. Interestingly, thoroughly researched and well-established concepts unexpectedly revealed a weak explication and without the necessary clarifications and corrections can hardly be considered as consistent scientific definitions in cultural studies.
