THE LOCAL CULTURAL SYSTEM: SUSTAINABILITY FACTORS

Abstract. The article analyzes and systematizes the main factors that ensure the historical stability of local culture and its reproduction from generation to generation. The basis of the historical stability of culture is a set of cultural traditions that stimulate the repetition of the methods of activity of the past. Other factors – the psychology of the modal personality of traditional culture and the mythology of cultural identity-contribute to the implementation of such repetitions.
