National Interest and National Security

Abstract. The article discusses two views on concepts of nation and national in science, law and public conscience, as well as their influence on state national policy and priorities of national security. The author marks a situational context of a certain approach, arguing that national security, first of all, preserves possibilities for proper reproduction of national culture.
