Region as a space-time of identity. Topochron and Chronotope of Regional Identity

Abstract. The article considers various aspects and scientific views on the perception of the region as a socio-cultural locus, and special emphasis is placed on the formation of a regional cultural identity. The concepts of "topochron" and "chronotope" of regional identity are introduced and analyzed.
