SYNESTHESIA IN THE POSTMODERN ERA: AESTHETICS DÉJÀ'VU

Abstract. Synesthesia is one of the most interesting and still poorly understood phenomena of human sensory organization. "Co-sensation", fusion of intermodal images are associated with the sensory aspect of the psyche. The unfounded and unsubstantiated expansion of the interpretation of the synesthetic phenomenon in the sphere of art is noted, the areas of its greatest distribution are highlighted.
