That Obscure Specter of Culture

Abstract: The article touches on the following topics: general scientific stance of the author, the present state of culture, current global cultural and civilizational crisis, cultural dynamics and transformation of mental types, as well as the key trends in cultural development. The main idea is related to establishing a thesis on fundamental shift of macrocultural paradigms and transition of culture as an evolving system to a new quality.
