The birth of the home: the spatial self-determination of primitive man

Abstract. The article is devoted to the substantiation of the fact that the early primitive (pre-political) residential buildings in their architecture were determined not by the climatic and resource conditions of the place, but by the worldview of ancient people. Housing reflected their ideas about the structure of the world and, as a rule, was round in plan in any climatic regions (modern analogues-Yurt, yaranga, wigwam). The walls of the house were the outer boundary of the mastered personal world of man.

Keywords. Housing, developed space, marker, architectural technique, worldview, structure of the world.
