The fate of the "Russian idea" in the twentieth century: A. Solzhenitsyn (Start)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the transformation of the" Russian idea " in the historical conditions of the twentieth century on the example of creativity of A. I. Solzhenitsyn and his throwing between Slavophilism and Westernism. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of the" Russian idea " to the peculiarities of Soviet power, which demonstrated declarative internationalism, but actually eliminated any national origin in the cultural and political ideology of the peoples.
