THE PRINCIPLE OF CLIP THINKING WHEN CREATING MUSICALS

Abstract. The number structure, based on the comparison of contrasting elements, was in demand by the audience at various stages of the development of mass art. This type of reception is directly related to the possibilities of unprepared Amateurs to special perception of various variety theatre styles and forms. The changes in the world connected with the development and dissemination of new forms of information transfer could not but affect the psychological factors of perception of a theatrical performance or a concert show by a modern audience. Hyperactivity, scattered attention, preference for visual, non-text, figurative symbols, in the absence of depth of perception of any logically coherent text or verbal forms of information, ─ these are the features of the phenomenon characterized as clip thinking. There are many similarities between "vaudeville" and "clip" thinking. Similar in structure to the modern perception of the form of the work, endowed with a linear plot, while having at its core a compressed literary text that can be quickly and easily mastered with the help of visualization, is a comics. In the musical ─ genre, belonging to the sphere of mass art, genre and style models serve as the basis for the creation of a collage composition of the musical, being the basic and in the field of visual, (much taking from the comics), and musical and linguistic means used by the authors. In this case, the newly created work can be in demand among the modern audience, as in all respects will fundamentally meet its requirements, in particular ─ meet modern clip thinking.
