EVOLUTION OF IDEAS ABOUT THE «ALIEN»

Abstract. The article is devoted to the review of the evolution of ideas about one's own and another person in the history of mankind. This is the first attempt at a comprehensive scientific systematization of the typical views of society on this problem in history, which played a significant role in the formation of people's national identity.

Keyword. One's own and another's, epochs: pre-industrial, industrial and post-industrial, rejection of others, tolerance for them, acceptance of them as one's own.
