Musical text in the space of culture.
Notes of a scholar on the book by A. Denisov, "Metamorphosis of musical text"

Abstract. The review is devoted to the analysis of the monograph by A. Denisov "Metamorphoses of the musical text" and the problems associated with a broad understanding of the text as a phenomenon of culture. Turning to various aspects of musical text and musical language, the author reveals such concepts as "text", "intertextuality", "perception", "parody" and others related to historical and cultural transformations of cultural texts and their specificity in (post)modern culture. The author of the article, in turn, explores the various problems of creating texts in various cultural spheres, sometimes following the logic of the author of the monograph, sometimes taking their own positions. Thus, a kind of "text about the text" is presented, which itself is a model of intertextuality.
