Problems of Modern Culture in the Concept of Professor O. Astafieva

Abstract. The article poses problems related to the theme of the scientific collection «Historical Turns of Culture» (December, 2017), dedicated to the 70 th anniversary of Professor I. Kondakov. The appeal to the questions posed by PhD, Professor O. Astafieva and related to the main provisions of Russia's cultural policy «in the dynamics of its development» is relevant. Considering the phenomenon of cultural space, O. Astafieva addresses to the idea of a dialogue of cultures, a dialectical combination of the principles of tradition and innovation, the principles of «conjugation of self-organization and governance».The author emphasizes the main provisions of the concepts of Yu. Lotman, M. Kagan and other thinkers, marks out the problems of the development of culture, relying on the works of leading scientists of our time: I. Kondakov, A. Flier, N. Khrenov, L. Mossolova and others.
