Social and cultural anthropology of tourism in Russia and abroad: history, modernity, prospects

Abstract. The article deals with the formation and development of the scientific direction - the anthropology of tourism in Russia and abroad, and its implications for the understanding of modern man. The original directions and theoretical concepts of the national anthropology of tourism, developed by the author of the article, are also disclosed and analyzed.
