Structuring culture according to the methods of social regulation

Abstract. The article considers the structuring of culture into three subcultures, the most effective from the point of view of performing the functions of social regulation – folk (traditional), elite (creative) and mass (conjunctural). At the same time, the specific methods and forms of social regulation inherent in these subcultures, the social strata against which these methods are applied, and the social results of such regulation are analyzed.
