A woman in culture: from the eternal "Otherness" to the triumph of femininity
Abstract. This article is a continuation of the cycle of publications devoted to the place of a woman in the culture of the past and present. The changes occurring in the sphere of culture, creation of cultural texts in the 20th century are considered. A woman becomes active in the literary process, in creative professions, traditionally masculine. In this connection, the notion of "female writing" emerges, reflecting the representation of the female view of the world in cultural forms. The status of a woman as an erotic object gives way to the legitimization of the "woman's view." The question is raised about the reasons for the intense feminization of culture, which embraced all spheres of socio-cultural life, in the postmodern era.
