Normative human behavior

Abstract. The article examines the evolution of customs from the social behavior of animals to the rational behavior of humans, the diversity of the morphology of mores and their social embodiments, as well as the possibilities of language to regulate the normative behavior of people. The obvious conditionality of any norms and, at the same time, their absolute social determinism are discussed. The most effective channels of transmission of these norms from generation to generation are considered.
